The university&rsquo;s position has improved significantly by 20 places in comparison with the previous edition of the ranking when BSU was at the 354th position. <br /> &nbsp;<br /> The place among World&rsquo;s Top 350 universities is the best result shown by the Belarusian State University so far. Earlier the university entered the World&rsquo;s Top 400 list. <br /> &nbsp;<br /> On June 8, 2017 the British ranking agency Quacquarelli Symonds published its ranking of the best 800 universities in the world <a href="https://www.topuniversities.com/university-rankings/world-university-rankings/2018">QS World University Rankings 201/18</a> (with just over 30,000 universities all over the world). The global ranking lists BSU library at 135th place while in the category of university libraries it is ranked as 127th among all 2300 information resources.</p> <p align="justify">&nbsp;<br /> The <a href="http://library.bsu.by">Fundamental Library</a> of the Belarusian State University is one of the first in Belarus to have started listing full-text databases of scientific publications, textbooks and BSU journals in global full-text databases.
