Goals of studying

Mastering the basic method of research in geometry – the method of coordinates. Mastering the figures of the first and second orders. Acquisition of knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of geometry for their use in the study of other mathematical disciplines.

As a result of the study, the student should be able to:

– use the methods of vector algebra; apply and use the method of coordinates; use the properties of figures of the first and second orders

Contents

Vectors and operations over them. The scalar, vector, and scalar triple mixed product of vectors. Affine, rectangular and other coordinate systems. Lines and planes. Figures of the second order in the plane and in the space
