Objectives of studying the discipline

In the course “Physics” the basic concepts, laws, principles are stated, key theorems are proved. The study of this discipline presupposes the formation of a systematic approach to solving practical problems among students.

  As a result of the study, the student must

know:

– the basic laws of physics;

– basic physical models;

– general theorems.

be able to:

– Perform the setting of a physical task;

– to form a mathematical model;

– analyze the solution obtained.

7

Prerequisites

For the perception of information, students need knowledge within the school course of physics, as well as courses of mathematical analysis, algebra, and analytical geometry that are read in the first semester.
