Objectives of the discipline |
– study of the principles of construction and software implementation of numerical methods for solving differential problems; – acquisition of skills to choose adequate numerical methods for solving a specific problem; – study of methods of a priori and a posteriori error estimation of the solution; – study of applied aspects of numerical methods of differential problems. – familiarization with numerical methods for solving differential problems implemented in computer mathematics packages . |

Content of the discipline |
Numerical methods for solving the Cauchy problem for ordinary differential equations. Numerical methods for solving boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations. Numerical solution of Fredholm integral equations. Construction and study of difference schemes for mathematical physics problems. |
