Research Laboratory of Applied Mechanics

Laboratory of Applied Mechanics specializes in the analysis of the dynamics, strength and stability of mechanical systems using modern packages of computer mechanics: ANSYS, Nastran, Pro/Mechanica, ADAMS.

The focus is on solving problems of mechanics systems based on the finite element method. There are such typical tasks of research as static and dynamic analysis of structures based on geometrical and physical nonlinearity, creep and plasticity, linear and nonlinear stability of structures, stationary and non-stationary problems of thermal physics, hydro- and gas dynamics and related tasks (e.g. fluid interaction with the structure).
