Coarse goal

Preparation of students in the following areas of this subject area:

• input and processing of images;

• methods and algorithms for image recognition and representation;

• technology for creating image processing systems and computer graphics.

Course Topics

Raster and vector data, image input, types and classification of images, graphic images, IC images, images of ZP, images of documents.

Tasks, methods, algorithms and technologies for image processing.

The notion of classification and recognition, the teaching set, the type of classification rules and the type of description of the objects to be classified, the metric, the Bayesian recognition procedure.

Processing of graphic images.

Working with color. Recognition of halftone image objects.
