The objectives of the study discipline

Understanding of basic principles of description golonomnyh and movements of nonholonomic mechanical systems and skills of problem solving.

Study of the basic equations that describe various kinds of movements of solids.

As a result of the study, the student should be able to:

  • apply the principle of possible moves to solve problems on equilibrium of mechanical systems;
  • be Lagrange’s equations of the second kind and use them to study the motion of mechanical systems;
  • be the equations of motion of nonholonomic systems;
  • explore small vibrations of mechanical systems with multiple degrees of freedom;
  • apply the General theorem for Dynamics of compiling of equations of motion of solids;
